Flight Miniatures 1:200 Scale Plastic Snap-Fit – Boeing 757-200 – Length:9.5" Wingspan: 7.5"
This model plane represents the America West Airlines 757-200 ship N905AW as it appeared in the special “Ohio State” livery. The design, featuring elements of the Ohio State Flag, was introduced in October 1995.
As part of its strategy to strengthen regional feed for its longer routes, America West started flying into Columbus, Ohio, in 1993. The operation grew into a mini-hub between the Phoenix and Las Vegas main hubs and the East Coast.
America West began operating 757s in its fleet in 1987 and at the time of it's merger with US Airways, in 2005, was operating 13 in their fleet.
