Flight Miniatures 1:200 Scale Plastic Snap-Fit – Boeing 737-900 – Length:8.25" Wingspan: 6.75/7.75 (winglets)"
This model represents the Boeing 737-900ER in the standard Boeing Demo livery. Boeing introduced this livery design, which is used for marketing activities, in 2004.
The Boeing 737-900ER is the latest addition to the 737 Next-Generation airplane family.
This extended range variant has the same external dimensions as the standard 737-900 but has two additional passenger doors aft of the wings. Other aerodynamic and structural design changes include a flat rear pressure bulkhead, a two-position tailskid, wing strengthening changes, enhancements to the leading and trailing edge flap systems, optional Blended Winglets, and auxiliary fuel tanks. These changes allow it to carry up to 26 more passengers or fly about 500 nautical miles farther than the standard 737-900.
